Item Availability

Most items on our site are in stock and ready to ship. Some items are either temporarily out-of-stock or are not available for shipment until a specific release date provided by the manufacturer (preorders). Orders for in stock items begin the order process as soon as your online purchase is completed. Your in stock item will be shipped once the item is located in stock, your payment is approved, and the receiving address is verified. SportsOnly makes every attempt to ship by the next business day so for example, if you order an in stock item on Monday that leaves the warehouse in one full business day, it will leave the warehouse by end-of-day Tuesday. After your order leaves our warehouse, delivery times vary according to the shipping method you select during checkout and the location of your shipping address. Please note that business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Shipping Methods and Costs

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on SportsOnly.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available. Currently SportsOnly ships via USPS and UPS. Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order. At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). (Please note, some items may offer only one shipping method.) Shipping costs are dependent on the items in your order and the shipping method you select. Your total shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order.

Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the weight of the total order. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount and therefore your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual ship charges appearing in your cart. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during checkout.

Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery (such as 2-Day, or Overnight service). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12:00 p.m. (noon) EDT or your order may not be processed until the following business day.

Oversized Items

Some heavy or oddly shaped items must be shipped using "Dimensional Shipping" which means the larger dimensions increases the price of the shipment regardless of the weight of the contents. When you place an order, you will be given a shipping quote based on the weight of the order only. SportsOnly may contact you once your order is placed to notify you of any additional shipping charges should your order need to be shipped under these oversized guidelines.

Free Shipping

SportsOnly offers free shipping on a variety of items domestically. Most bats are shipped free using UPS Ground. Some smaller items are typically shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Please allow 7-10 business days for these First Class item(s) to arrive, though this time frame is not guaranteed by the USPS.

Order Tracking

At our warehouse, tracking numbers are assigned to packages almost immediately and generally appear on our website along with your order information. However, it may take up to several hours before the package is scanned into the carrier's tracking system. That means even though your package has already shipped from our warehouse and is on its way to you, the carrier may not be able to provide any information about your package for up to 24 hours or more.

The status of your order is easy to find. First, check your e-mail. You were required to enter an e-mail address during checkout; you will receive e-mails at your address keeping you up-to-date about the status of your order. Also visit our website to view information about your most recent orders (including tracking information) as well as past orders. Contact us if you still have questions about your order.

Sales Tax

State law requires that we charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped within the state of Michigan.

Online Gift Certificates

Online Gift Certificates are redeemable online only at www.sportsonly.com and cannot be used at our retail store or via mail order. Online Gift Certificates are sent via e-mail to any individual with a valid e-mail address. The recipient of an Online Gift Certificate will receive an e-mail with a Gift Certificate Code redeemable only at www.sportsonly.com. The code is activated immediately. Gift Certificates are valid for six months.

PayPal

PayPal is an alternate method for purchasing your order on www.sportsonly.com. It enables any individual or business with an email address to securely send payments online. With a PayPal account, you can choose to pay with your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account balance for any purchase you make. Your credit card and bank numbers are never seen by the seller or merchant. Plus, you're 100% protected against unauthorized payments sent from your account. If you select PayPal as your payment option, you will continue through the standard checkout process then automatically proceed to paypal.com to complete your payment.

Discount Codes

During the Checkout process, you will see a "Promo Code" section. Enter the discount code exactly as it appears, in the box next to "Promo Code."

Order Emails

After you place your order, you will receive e-mails about your order. Below are examples of e-mails you might receive:
  • Order Confirmation. This email confirms that we have received your order. It includes your order number. Keep this e-mail for your records.
  • Shipment Confirmation. This e-mail confirms that your order or part of your order has been sent to the warehouse for shipping. This DOES NOT mean that your order has been shipped. There is a small chance that once in the warehouse your order will not be fulfilled due to an item being out of stock. If this is the case, someone from our Customer Service Department will contact you with an estimated ship date.

Cancelling an Order

Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:
  • Item(s) not available
  • Difficulty in processing your payment information
  • Cannot ship to address provided
  • Duplicate order was placed
If your order is cancelled, you will receive a notice regarding your order via e-mail which will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items.

Processing Time

Orders are shipped as expeditiously as possible. SportsOnly makes every effort to process and ship all orders within one business day. Orders made after business hours on Friday are processed Monday and shipped on Tuesday at the latest. All orders shipped via USPS are shipped the day after they are processed.

Update an Order

Orders may only be updated by contacting our Customer Service Department directly. Since we try to process and ship orders as efficiently as possible, please contact us at your earliest convenience to ensure your order is corrected before we ship it to you.

Defective or Damaged Product

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our Customer Service Department within 30 days of delivery at 1-800-672-0822. Please supply us with your name, order number and tracking number from your original confirmation e-mail. We will also need your e-mail address and phone number. SportsOnly will make every reasonable effort to work with the shipping carrier to replace the item(s) in a timely manner. We cover shipping charges if there was damage to the item due to shipping.

Credit

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 60 days of our receiving your returned product. You will be refunded the shipping cost only if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Return items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Returning an Item

If you would like to return an item to SportsOnly, please follow these steps:

1. The return must be made within 30 days of receipt. The product cannot be used. Return applies only to new items without any use. All bats must be in original packaging. To return an item, click here and fill out the Return Form thoroughly so that we can process your return as quickly as possible and get your exchange/credit back to you right away.

2. Upon receipt and inspection of the product, credit will be processed against the credit card used for the purchase. If you paid by money order, we will mail you a refund. Please allow 14 days after our receipt for processing your credit or mailing your refund. If you are exchanging for a different product we will process the exchange and ship it out to you or contact you with any questions or clarifications.

Returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Exchanges incur no restock fees.

For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for your return. Ship the return package to:

Return Exception - Bats

Any bat not in the original wrapper must be returned directly to the manufacturer. For directions on returning opened bats, please contact the manufacturer directly.
